Student responses- Composition: +10 Subject: +2 Originality: +5
I think they thought that my best area was composition because I had a good focal point in both pictures. I also think that I used the rule of thirds and the shadows made the pictures have good balance. The worst category was subject matter. I think the picture of the table may have not been the most exciting subject, so I scored lower. However, I got more points for the originality which is because that subject was still unusual and different.

Rhythm- The rhythm is shown in this picture through the repetition of of color and line in this image. Texture- The rope appears soft and you can imagine what it would feel like to the touch. This part of the theater shows balance because the chairs on the left side of the picture and the right side of the picture both have equal visual weight. Line- The lines on the track and the railing are points moving in space and move the viewers eye through the photo. Movement- The water from the water fountain shows movement because it is moving through the picture and the arch is what moves the viewers eye through the image. Emphasis- The emphasis is the whistle. It is the largest thing in the photo and is a different color then the background. Color- The colors in this photo are very bright with many different hues. The background color is darker which helps the colorful weights stand out.
